kitbash for my comic book.

this is a 1:35 scale plastic model using parts from Tamiya, Revell, and Trumpeter models. it depicts a vehicle from my fictional comic storyverse.

...

"The K10-A1 is an odd beast, designed specifically for armored warfare in the tight confines of Republican townships, where the streets are often impossibly narrow, precluding the use of larger and longer-barreled tanks.

The K10 is heavily armed for its weight class, with a 76mm high-velocity cannon and an 8mm coaxial making up the turret armament, a .50 machinegun on the deck, and an 8mm driver-operated machinegun in the hull. In addition to this, K10 crews often carry a range of small arms weapons and shaped-charge rockets, in the case of being dragged into fighting too close for the turret to properly traverse and engage - a common event in the life of a K10 crew.

Having been designed with urban warfare in mind, the K10's short, compact dimensions and extensive armored paneling over vital areas allow it to operate unhindered and relatively unharmed in street-to-street fighting, with considerations made for attached infantry units such as a two-way phone (located at the rear of the hull), and hand-holds for men riding "on deck".

The K10 is an unusual sight on the open battlefield, assigned almost entirely to Shock Army units operating in urban areas, where its unique strengths become an overwhelming Republican advantage."
